05-05-2011 09:07 PMI'd also love to see a new froyo rom. It's kinda like running XP vs W7 on your PC. (Forget vista). Yes Aero and libraries and homegroups all the other doodads are really cool, but froyo is like XP : tight, fast and stable as hell. Its been months since a good new froyo release, there's lot's of new stuff to add to the brew.

I have set up several new machines with 7 and some with XP. same machine, both fresh installs. core i5 cpus with 2gb of ddr3-1066. the xp one is much quicker to launch and quicker to do every day tasks. such is the case with froyo vs gb

perhaps even better:
froyo = slackware
gb = ubuntu
