RZ, this thing is smokin' fast and stable - nice work!! but, i'm having a couple of issues i can't figure out. for some reason, none of my pics are showing up in my gallery. the names of all of the folders, as well as the number of pics in each folder, are showing up, but not the actual pics, themselves...?? second, i can't get my google contacts to sync - only 20 out of 300 are showing up...?? i've synced and synced and synced, but no love.
anyone with suggestions, thanks!

you do not have a .nomedia file in any of your SD folders, do you? Al of my pictures have always shown up, just takes a while the first time you open the gallery after a data wipe (it has to rebuild the thumbnails and everything I guess - always takes forever for me)
as far as the google contacts go... I only have about 15, but no testers ever reported anything like this, hate to say it, but a reinstall with fresh data wipe (for both issues) might be a good place to start, just backup first in case it doesn't help...

Open up a file manager app like astro and go to:
/sdcard/media
And create a folder called Ringtones.
Put your desired tones here and they will show up on the list. Works for alarms and notification tones too by making the respective folders.

Is a clean install required when going from 0.4 to 0.5? Or, let me ask the question a different way... What would you wipe?

Actually theres an even easier way to do this, just make a folder on your sd card called ringtones or notifications and they will automatically populate those files into the ringtones and notifications, that's how I got all my custom ones, and never had a problem with that working across any of the roms I've been in.
edit: whoops, didn't see taco already posted this.
Website down or is it just me?
