    You are a freaking genius. I was having consistent problems with CWR... it would reboot at random intervals and not mount the SD card. Nasty.

    This recovery is fast, simple... oh, man, why didn't I do it sooner!

    I will ask this question because it bears asking. Did you nandroid after the sbf but before the update.zip? If yes then this doesn't apply. You still had the FRS.
    If it was after the update.zip then there was another problem.

    @prime
    I have also had your issue, and it was only resolved by flashing spr back on and flashing a new ROM.

    Since though, if I manually wipe /system only then normal wipe on install it seems to work.

    Wiping Process?

    Just curious what/or how everyone wipes before installing a new ROM or restoring a nandroid, if there is a difference?

    Having so many options under the wipe menu, I'm not sure I've got a good grip on the best way to do it. I've been wiping ALL for the most part because I've had a couple instances where I flashed a new ROM or a nandroid and the boot animation from the ROM I just left still comes up. I've also tried wiping system, data, boot and cache only and it has been ok, so I'd appreciate a little input for comparison.

    What I haven't done much of is using the "wipe data" option in the install menu. I've usually wiped all I'm going to before I get that far.

    Thanks....

    I typically will just wipe all if I wipe anything. But changing to a new CM7 nightly, I don't wipe everytime

    try turning down the OC maybe? My phone gets buggy over a certain speed, certainly would become an issue with installations

    It looks as though his entire site is down. Screenshots, as well as other files he has hosted there appear to be down. http://www.rzroms.com Is Down -> Check if your website is up or down?

    Yup, looks like everything is down.

    I have a copy of RZR 2.0.1, but was looking forward to flashing the newest one today.

    rzroms.com is dead. It expired this morning. I got rzdroid.com and it should be ready by the end of today... sorry for the inconvenience.

    Rzroms was being sublet from an old windows mobile friend's site that just expired.. but rzdroid.com is all mine
