Came back to PE after trying latest MIUI ROM, love this ROM. Only problem having is the continued vibrate issue with phone calls where phone won't stop vibrating after answering call. Anyone come up with reason or fix. Vibrate comes in handy when at work. Currently using stock kernel with no themes.

    Thanks
upping the minimum speed of the cpu
so instead of 225 min (the default on the default kernel)
maybe up the speed to 400

same with the vibrate issue that was just mentioned
if I remember right (and could be entirely wrong)
but some have reported success by adjusting the cpu speed.

    for what it's worth......
I have the default kernel set at 400 min / 1050 max / interactive governor
and have absolutely no issues with incoming calls / vibrate issues / etc

worth trying and seeing if it does the trick for you

Worked for me by bumping up to 400, vibrate ends when phone answered. Thanks

Well that was short lived, after bumping up bottom end of kernel to 400, 1st time answered phone vibrate stopped on answering but 2nd call I went to answer vibrate wouldn't stop, couldn't answer call then phone froze up and had to pull battery. Back to no vibrate for phone.

Agreed..ROM is silky smooth, but the vibrating upon answering a call is very, very annoying. I hope a fix is coming.

I too had to turn vibrate off, but that actually solves the problem.
On several current customs some have encountered it going to speaker or the ringtone continuing keeping you from being able to communicate and lastly just not responding to the answer phone trigger be it rotary, slider or camera button.
It seems PE doesn't have any of the others that are much harder to address. Or am I mistaken and some have run into the above mentioned other phone flies in the ointment?
Because as far as I can tell with the vibrate issue, merely turning it off solves everything with only no vibration as the side effect.

Has anyone heard of possible solutions to the other types of phone glitches?
Just asking for the sake of learning in case anyone has other solutions. Thus the fountain of knowledge can continue to be a replenishing one.

Well you are right in a way, sure the Sept 8th phone will have its share of problems cause nothing is perfect, all phones have little or big glitches. No two phones are exactly the same, don't work the same or play nice the same. So you must have the perfect phone.
