Sometimes randomly , or after a reboot my soft buttons will stop responding. The touchscreen will work fine, but home, menu, search etc won't work.

I had been running 4.2 for the past month and this never happened once and just happened on PE6.5 so I believe it is Gingerbread related.

EDIT: This is actually a different phone since I got a new one on warranty..so maybe its something I'm doing if its on two different phones.
could be either the phone or potentially a quirky ROM install

during beta testing I never once had that problem on either of my phones
    Thanks for the reply.

I just find it weird that I had it happen on PEv6 BETA on one phone, then I sent that one in unrelated on warranty.

Got a new phone about a month ago and have been running 4.2 on it. Now I just flashed PEv6 FINAL and it had that same exact problem.

Just seems odd to happen to two separate phones and also not at all on Froyo.
It is definitely an odd situation
and I wish I could help more to trouble shoot it
but since it hasn't happened to me, I couldn't say one way or another
what's causing or what a fix would be for this specific an issue.

I'll try messing with my spare D1 and see if I can make it happen
maybe get lucky and figure out what's doing it

of all the testing ive done hasnt happend to me but i have to admit that def is odd. try to format all your partitions then install but before that just try a different kernel and see if that helps.

Had the same happen to me. Rebooted then worked. Changed my lockscreen to regular rotate. Works fine for now.

Going to test today. Hope I don't have call problems.

Wow..am thrilled. I had given up on GB (all ROM's - not just yours) due to various issues and just went back to PE 4.2 Froyo which is flawless.

I will give this GB ROM a try.

    Thanks..and keeping my fingers crossed!

It must be a good omen when you load up a gb rom and run into ZERO bumps or hurdles to go over. Looking good fellas!
