    Messaging force closing

    Rencently I've tried to have my brother send me a video and every time I go to open it my messaging force closes every time it also does it when my step mom sends me a video. My brother has a I phone 4 and my step mom has a blackberry. Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this or if anybody else is having this problem??

    Were you able to download the file? If so can you open the file by going into file manager and seeing if it works that way?

    I think it downloads it just pops up new message I go to open the thread and it just force closes so I can't tell for sure if its downloaded or not

    Well use file manager and look for the file, or u can just find a 3gp video file and put it on your sd card then run it via file manager to see if its the file format that's crashing the app or something else. That wont give you an answer but atleast you will be able to narrow down what the issue is. Are you stock or rommed?

    I'm rommed I'm running p.e. v6 and how would I be able to find it through a file manager if its in my messaging and I don't know if it downloaded or not

    Thats why i said try transferring a 3gp file to your SD card, i didn't know what phone your using but my phone saves text attachments to /sdcard/downloads, and access it via file explorer. I know Blackberry defiantly uses the 3gp format i believe iPhone does as well. Has this always happened since you flashed the ROM?
