An odd problem

I really dont know if this is a function of PVe6 2.3.3 but I will throw it out to the experts. I am running PVe6 in conjunction with this I have tried multiple kernals. The phone will basically just turn itself off. When i plug in the charger after a moment or two the phone will turn itself back on. When the phone is rebooted it will say that the battery is ok. This seems to be happening more often. I ordered a new battery from ebay but I just want to make sure that I am not overlooking something. I installed using the guide for a clean install on a OG droid. Thanks.

i would think its the battery as well.

just to be sure, you can always make a nandroid of your current setup and then install a new rom and see if it does the same thing.

if it does the same thing, its not the rom and would be something hardware related (most likely battery)
