If you were to look thru a couple of the threads you'd see that PEv6 is in the works...:) ... and yeah I agree that PE is one of the best ROMs I've used, and that's saying a lot considering how many great ROMs have been released by all of our agro-talented Devs...;)
Development is def not dead. it was slowed there for a litle while because of work and the fact that working so much and then having to redo most of the fw edits when upgrading to 2.3.3 took a little bit of time.
Lately we have been working on the rom and kernels and not sure if the rom will be updated and released as 2.3.4 or if it will be 2.3.3 yet. 2.3.4 will push the release back and 2.3.3 is almost ready but its 2.3.3 so well see.
Completely understandable - here's my question - what are you using for your everyday rom? Is it stable? If so, perhaps you would consider letting a few of us try it out. Is it as good as 2.3.2?
I for one love PE GB on my wife's D1 and wish I had a D2 to donate to you. I would totally do it to obtain the ability to run PE on my D2. You guys rock.
I am curious on something though. I recently downloaded and installed PE GB on my wife's phone but when I go to elite settings and check for updates it indicates that there is one available. I don't know if I am running 5.0.1 or 5.0.2.......does this available update indicate that I am running 5.0.1? And if so what are the changes in 5.0.2?
I've been running the PEv6 test as my daily driver for a couple of weeks now, the most recent version for that last 4 days, and it's fantastic.
If you go to the Project Elite website and choose forums near the top right, there is a Subscriber forum for Project Elite Roms that has a new incremental build and new kernels. I have donated and registered on the site and have access to this forum. I'm sure you have to be at least registered on the site to access the fourm, don't know if donation is necessary.
Development is far from over for pe trust me
