Looking for some insight into this mystery... I've been using various version of PE since the beginning of this year. After trying 5.02 for a while, I decided to go back to 4.2, since IMHO Froyo runs better on my D1. Anyway, after installing 4.2 on my Droid I am having some weird issues with one of my favorite games, Baseball Superstars (BS for short).
First off, I did a fresh install of everything. Meaning I let Google Market download and install all of my apps (as opposed to the TiBu method) since I've been bouncing back and forth between Gingerbread and Froyo. After all the apps installed, BS was there. I used TiBu to restore the BS app data and even played a game. However, after a subsequent reboot the app has disappeared from my phone. I've tried many times to either download it or restore it with no luck. The only error I get is from the market when it tries to install: Installation failed - Insufficient storage available.
Now I don't buy that. I think there is some settings or cache that needs to be cleared up somewhere (that cachemate doesn't touch?)...
Anyway, here are more details:
Phone - Moto Droid 1
Free Internal mem - 107 MB
Free SD mem - 4.2 GB
Tried installing with Apps2SD turned on, off, set to auto, set to internal, set to external. All result in same storage error.
Thanks for any suggestions.
