Best Battery Life on PE 5.x

What's the best battery life you have been able to get on this ROM and how? For some reason running the stock kernel was eating my battery life away so I wound up flashing a 1Ghz kernel and installed Juice Defender and Autokiller. Been running really fine since then

I am at like 60% at the end of my day running stock kernal. (6am-11pm) and I've heard that the juice defender and task killers are not good but if its helping you then go for I guess...

The thing is I'm a very heavy data user. How are you getting 60% after a 17 hour day? Mine doesn't last more than 12 hours if I'm lucky :-(

    stock kernel (rz 1.1)
    from 6am - 10pm
no task killer, no juice defender, no SetCPU ( i just use the interactive governor inside PE)
avg 11-15 calls a day (7-10 min avg)
medium data usage (flash, web, email, texting)

all that and I'll start at 100% and be down around 30-40% at the end of the day.

remember factors to consider = age of droid / age of battery / how many times you've flashed, themed, wiped, abused

Yea I'm not on mine though. I work 50hrs a week and what I do doent allow for cell use. So that's all idle and checking time and maybe 10 texts through the day. So actually mine isn't that good but I'm happy with it. I don't use setcpu or juice defender or tak killer and I have a brand new battery bought 2 weeks ago.

I usually do about the same about of data as you, but my calls and txts are probably lower. But my question is (and I apologize that this isn't really a PE question, and it might be a little bit of a thread jack), and I can't seem to find a good answer on this, but it shouldn't hurt my battery at all if I leave my phone plugged into a wall charger as I use it right? I have hear people say "nope won't hurt a thing. It just keeps your battery charged" to "You should never keep your phone hooked to your charger unless it is charging. You can damage the battery". Which one is it?

Does this smell like chloroform to you?

Speaking in general electronic terms, you should only charge something when you have to. If you are continually charging the battery it wont hurt it per se but it will decrease the overall life of the battery. Generally batteries have x number of charges in a life time. If you're continually charging it, you're wasting the life

there have been days where I've left it on the charger while doing hours and hours of framework mods and theming changes.

other days I've left it off until it's completely dead.

in the 16 months I've had my droid I honestly haven't noticed a difference either way in how it reacts to doing either or.

7am-11pm with around 20% still left. 1ghz rz kernel
avg 10 calls and 50 texts.
    Sometimes play some games.
No extra apps for battery. Only lookout for security and using PE governor. Good stuff!

when i used pe 5 (got tired of 3g dropping after a call, tho i might try it again with GLD's new script)

kernel: Rz custom kernel for my phone 900mhz (the joys of your own voltage research!)
    7am - 11pm
avg 5-10 calls a day (7-10 min avg)
medium data usage (flash, web, email, texting)
end of day: 60% or so
PE v6 Beta. holy crap i think GB bugs are gone!
    custom CorCor kernel
