Project Elite 4.2 (Froyo)
Project Elite 5.0.2 (Gingerbread)
I'm on 502 and have been since it released. Every once in a while I get the 3g issue but I'm on wireless at work and at home so it's not a dealbreaker. I'm not running any custom theme.
I love the ROM.
5.0.2 now, may go back to 4.2.
5.0.2 has gotten really slow/laggy since initial install.
I voted for 4.2 since I have yet to make the leap to 5.x. I really want to make the upgrade, but after hearing about how lots are having issues with not getting pic/ video messages I have yet to do it. Now if I lock Handcent into memory will that let me get all of my messages (txt, pics, and videos)?
Does this smell like chloroform to you?

5.0.2. Have not experienced ANY of the problems people have been having. I have tried MANY roms and right now, this seems 2 be my favorite. Its speed, stability, and features make this my ROM of choice for the moment. Will never go back to Froyo. No need to.
FYI, I do wipe cache and data 3 times before I install any ROM. Usually do not have the problems that most people experience. Its amazing how people can have different experiences running the same ROM on the same phone. Oh well...![]()
I went back to 4.2. I never really had all the problems people were talking about but when I did hit something it was bad. Sometimes I would wait seconds after unlocking the phone. I said it before and I'll say it again. Its gingerbread not the Elite team. My phone just doesn't like gingerbread. The Elite team does an awesome job with everything.

PE5 worked ok for me, but that 3G issue gets annoying. 4.2 for me, the only thing I miss from 5 is the ability to select options for the Galaxy S notification widget for sound and brightness.
