About LinkBacksRunning stock PE 4.2 and want to know if there is a way to get the pressing of my bluetooth headset button to launch voice dialer instead of redialing last number called.

01-25-2011 07:28 PMI was wondering this too. When I used the Bluetooth for the first time the voice dialer popped up and worked fine but ever since that first time it hasn't worked.

01-25-2011 07:43 PMHow your bluetooth headset functions as a voice dialer is dependent on the headset, not the ROM. I suggest you read you manual for your headset (if you don't have it, it's a good bet you can find it online) to see how to engage voicedialing with the headset. I have the Jabra EXTREME and mine works exactly like you're wanting it to -- I just tap the button on the headset and bluetooth voice dialing pops up, every time, without fail. I use it a lot.

01-25-2011 11:14 PMI only asked because with other ROMs it worked as desired. Maybe I'll try repairing it and see if it picks it up differently. Who knows...after all it is technology.

01-26-2011 04:00 PMI'm using a Plantronics earpiece and I have to long press the power button like I would the screen for a widget or wallpaper and it has worked fine for me.
