Anybody else having issues with Sirius app?

    Hello,

First of all, thank you to the Dev's for all of their hard work as it really shows on this ROM.

I started having an issue immediately with the Sirius Radio app while authenticating my creds for the first time. While trying to login, it error's out with message "unable to process request". I tried on my wife's phone and didn't have any issues so I'm not certain it's with the service.

Outside of that everything else is running great. I did perform a full wipe before installing.

    Thank you for any assistance.

Same issue: "Unable to process request"

Yesterday I was listening over 3G and had no issues, not even timeouts. Today I was listening at home via the Internet, then came into work to listen on my Droid 2. Can't log in, and I've seen 3 different error messages. Even had someone log me out at home to see if that helped. Rebooted the phone, tried to sign in again, still "Unable to process request."

I too have been having issues but only when trying to use wifi and bluetooth at the same time. I tried doing some research on this but the only thing I could find was that Froyo has a problem running wifi and bluetooth at the same time. I have no idea why. This is not 100% factual info, again just what I was able to piece together from various sources before I gave up.
As far as I can tell this issue exits on all Froyo roms. One evening I flashed a bunch of different roms and they all had the same problem. The Sirius app has been very quirky for me even without bluetooth and wifi being used at the same time. This rom has been by far the best with Sirius as long as I keep bluetooth turned off.

No Wifi or Bluetooth in use.

Thanks for your info. I'm not using Wifi or Bluetooth, so that doesn't seem to be my issue. Maybe it's Sirius/XM server issues. If you remember in 2006, when Howard first came on Sirius, their servers were absolutely not able to accommodate the increased traffic. Maybe this is the same-type situation, but with the mobile connections.

Just got off the phone with XM (Sirius). They say they are having some type of difficulty with their internet site. They suggested to wait an hour or so and try again.

I had issues even without bluetooth or wifi in PE4.1 also. But with PE4.2, it has been perfect over 3G.

Is sirius working with the current build. I'm going to try the rom when I have time, but if sirius isn't working, I won't bother. I have liquid now and can't get it to work.
    thank you

Sirius app is working fine for me on PE 5.0.2, both on 3G and wifi.
