    Default kernel for pe 4.2

    What is the default kernel with pe4.2? I know its a slayher 1.1ghz, but is it normal voltage or is it low voltage.

    You can see the kernel you're running by going to Settings > About Phone > Kernel version. I don't know if Slayher kernels are labeled as such, but chevyno1 kernels are labeled "2.6.32-lowV-1.1GHz" so can identify the voltage.

    The stock kernel in PEv4.2 is the slayher 1100 v1.6 LV.

    slayhers dont show up like that.

    thanks GLD. i was wondering. it doesnt play nice with my phone for whatever reason.

    It was running hot on my phone. Any other kernels are recommended for this build?

    Just try different kernels. That is really the only way to find one that works well for your phone
