It really does, i've tried DC, UD, and now PE after a long time of not using them and I can barely make it through the day. I also do not think there is any real ways I can fix it :/ Oh well.

Yeah, I remember I had terrible battery life with PE 4.2. Would be at around 30% after school is over. When the usual is 60% at gingerbread.

I've been running PE4.2 for a loooong time now. I committed to sticking with it until I decide what phone to upgrade to, since I had a terrible experience with GB. I've had very good battery life, unless I watch videos or run resource-heavy games. Are you using the stock kernel?
Yeah i was running the stock kernal, I did run deprimed and got better life but performance took a big hit
The Raidzero 800MHz MV kernel has worked well for me.
Except raidzero doesn't have any working links for his kernels anymore
