When your battery is at 100%, wipe the battery stats. Then, throughout the day, discharge the battery until it turns itself off.

I've done that twice now. One day with PE options and the second day I wiped the stats from recovery. The battery still drops from 70% down to 20% then again down to 5%. Now 5% last forever. I was trying to kill the battery so I could fully recharge and wipe, and it took me 4 hours to kill the battery. I turned the screen to 100%, timed the screen out at 30 minutes and ran the music player for 1 hour. That was on top of the phone calls and emails and texts I was receiving and sending.

I don't want to depend on my battery lasting 4 hours on 5%. The only thing I haven't done is wipe everything and start again with PE v4.1

If I were you, I would wipe clean, then install on a clean slate. Use Project Elite's method of coming from a clean install.

The wipe clean and the re-install seems to have helped. It did not go from 70 to 20 to 5 percent today. Now I can actually see how the battery life is with this version.
