Disable Saving Password on Browser

When I connect to a site through my browser that requires credentials, , the user credentials are retained on the phone after I disconnect from the browser. I do not have 'remember passwords' checked under browser settings, securty settings, but in order to be prompted for credentials again, I must clear passwords.

We're testing multiple phones and the droid, X, droid2 are the only ones where we see this issue. All phones are running 2.2 of the OS.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
