I don't seem to have the right keywords or this thread doesn't exist yet.
After searching the threads, I downloaded Motorola Media Link and finally got some of my media to transfer to my PC (Windows 7). However, it is transferring my videos that were captured on my droid as a jpg....
Help! I really want these memories! Thanks!

Better driver available
I found a fix after several days at this! The driver that my droid x automatically loaded was not sufficient. If anyone else is having this problem, download an updated version off the internet.
