better, a dive mask with a purge valve or one without?

04-07-2010 05:19 AMI vote for without. Been diving for years. With proper technique you will be able to easily clear any water that gets in. Find a mask with soft silicon that fits comfortably with little pressure against your face. Comfort is important here. I have a Tusa Liberator mask that I've used for over 20 years. Fits like a glove. Enjoy!
