Never had the BK rib sandwich but the pulled pork one is pretty good considering it's BK.
As for Famous Dave's, their "award winning" ribs are quite overrated. Maybe it's the one location I went to but they were pretty tough and I ended up quite disappointed. Their sides are awesome though.
And charcoal ftw.
Mcrib isn't dead, they only offer it for a limited time. They can't buy pigs fast enough to keep up with demand on a regular basis. Plus when it's only a limited time deal people buy way more than normal compared to a regular menu item.
Recent convert to charcoal and I feel it cooks large quantities very well with really good flavor. But if you are looking to just grill a couple dogs for you and the kids gas is the way to go.
Propane is quicker and you'd have to taste my BBQ chix to know it can be done well. (not well done)
