02-23-2010 06:10 AMtablets have lots of potential, but the problem is, it's such a cost investment, nobody wants to spend the money. businesses could go completely paperless by implementing wifi and issuing tablets to their workforce, but who's going to pay for it?
students could save money and space on textbooks, but then each student is required to purchase and maintain the equipment.
no only that, but the iPad only has 1024x768 resolution. once an actual tablet is released with actual 1080p quality resolution and can go 20+ hrs on a charge, then i'll be interested. -
