Ok so i went and saw Shutter Island yesterday...it started out (for the first hour!) really slow. Turned out to be a pretty good movie. i'd give it a 7/10 rating.

Well recently I am not sure, but all time favorites would have to be.. Alice in Wonderland, Dogma, Fast and Furious (1st and last), and Happy Gilmore....
Now Shutter Island I heard in an interview with DiCaprio that it was an intense film to make.. in regards to dealing with insane asylums and all. He said he personally feels this was one of the most mentally challenging films to date he has made.So you recommend seeing it I am assuming?

That's a tough one. It's changed over time so there are fond memories of having favorites. The first one was probably Omega Man and I'd catch it each year when it showed up on TV back when there were only 3 major networks to choose from. Favorites to me are ones you can watch over and over. The most recent one would be Avatar which we saw in the theater twice. The second time being a day trip to NYC to see it on the huge Imax screen in Lincoln Sq.
To twist the thread a bit I'd say the three most watched movies in our house, since the kids stopped watching Disney movies would be the following:
Shrek
Overboard
Chicago
Yes i'd recommend seeing it just keep in mind it's REALLY boring the first hour. The end will be a complete shock and makes it worth seeing. i was likelol
Btw i didn't post my all time fav which would have to be good fellas or silence of the lambs lol i like all the dumb chucky movies too.

Insane asylums make me think of another film, that has seen the inside of our DVD player quite a few times, that we enjoyed: Conspiracy Theory.
Drama = Shawshank
Comedy = Midnight Run
Omg this is making me wish it was pouring rain and i could lay on the couch all day watching movies!! have to go have breakfast with my monster-in-law then go to her house![]()
