I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled soon.. Dentist dude said I could be awake or knocked out when he does it. Lol, I knew I'd have to pick. any suggestions?

The only thing about being knocked out is the only thing that wakes you up is the excruciating pain, and the codeine takes forever and a day to kick in. Awake, as soon as you're done you can start popping pills, takes quite a few tries because your mouth won't hold water.

My dentist gave me a numbing shot of some kind before I left the office then pills before I walked out of the office....I wouldn't have done it any other way....I had all four wisdom teeth cut out at one time....
