Samsung's bada OS

They say first impressions are key and if that is the case, then Bada should be a major player in the mobile landscape in the coming years.

"So far there are some hints that Samsung’s own Bada mobile platform is getting some rave responses from global mobile operators"

according to Kim Hyung, vice president for strategic planning at Samsung. Samsung, the number two mobile phone maker in the world, expects to see 40 different kinds of smartphones to be released this year but no word was given as to how many would be running Bada. The only thing rumored is a Bada based smartphone being introduced at MWC 2010 in February and released SK Telecom as early as July. The rest of the world however, might be treated much earlier to a Bada phone sometime in April or May. Only thing we know for sure is that Bada seems to be getting good reviews from companies which is a good thing.
