    Changing caller id name shown

    I tried to change the caller id name that is shown this weekend through my Verizon. For some reason it hasn't changed yet. What am I doing wrong?

    if i remember when i changed mine it didnt take effect until the next billing cycle.

    granted this was several years ago things could be different now.
