I plan to get it. And use my Droid's rooted wirelessly tethering capabilities to run it. So I effectively get the iPad on the Verizon network.
I have a netbook now, and this seems like a decent replacement for my netbook. Price is right and it knocks two birds out with one stone. Was interested in getting a Kindle for some time now and don't have to deal with it now.
Actually I have an Archos 250GB portable movie player. It has WiFi and a lot more flexibility than the iPad...you can get it with the Android system as well...for a LOT less.
