Tough spot

I have a sprint account along with Verizon and am up for upgrade, the upgrade price for the 4s is 200 and the 4 is 100 now I have no desire for an iPhone but I feel as though there's money to be made here to purchase a better android phone

Best thing to do is go onto eBay or Craig's List (perhaps something similar) and see what they are literally selling for. Then from there make a decision on what you want to do. But if you have an upgrade you could always skip to getting an Android phone.

Well I'd rather stay on Verizon and with Motorola but I'm tryingvto figure out how to get around the activation and what not

What I mean is when you get phone at upgrade price you have to activate phone, if I understand correctly.

Well to get the upgrade price you definitely need to renew your contract. But I do not think you HAVE to activate it once you get it. You most likely would be able to just go ahead and sell it but then like I said you will be locked into a new contract.

Well the contract doesn't bother me so much as I'm in it with two different phones anyway so I may check into it

Definitely worth it to check it out, even if just to know for yourself. And like I said I am pretty sure there is no reason you HAVE to activate it once you get it. There have been a number of times where I used someone else's upgrade on my plan and activated it on another line so just not activating it should be a possibility.

Heck I might even check tomorrow but all local sprint stores are out of the 4s.
