    Fail: trying to post pictures. Need suggestions.

    So when I try to post pictures from my computer into threads, it doesn't work for me about 9 out of 10 times. Anyone else having trouble or anyone else have any tips?! I've tried making sure the name of the file is short. I've tried png's, jpg's and nothing works. Thanks

    ^ I dont think it is working properly. I was just trying to post a screen shot (71kb) today. The file size is small but if it's something like 200x200 max res I dont think anyone will be able to see a screen shot very well!

    How are you trying to post the screenshot ?

    You can use a third party hosting site like tinypic

    then select the "image" icon



    and then insert your image url




    and viola - sites like tinypc will automatically wrap the [IMG] around your image URL taking away the need to use the forums "add image" icon

    I think he is asking why the "from computer" option isn't working.

    I never use that option - third party hosting always looked better and is easily manipulated within the post

    Also, the previous version of the DroidForums app allowed image uploads. Current version 1.0.4 doesn't: "security error"
