Working at verizon

So I was thinking about applying for a job at verizon but I had a few questions. I'm sure someone here either knows the answers or works there. I was curious as to what kind of skills you need to have, I'm good with computers and like to think I'm good with phones. I was also wondering what kind of benefits you get. Like how often you can get new phones and if you get a Discount?
