Since it has been said root/jailbreaking/hacking isn't illegal I don't see this patent going through.
Not illegal, but Apple, as well as others still retain the right to void warranty if rooted or jailbreaking has occurred.
Besides, most iPhone zombies could care less. Most would probably say it was ok for Jobs to remotely turn on their cameras to keep an eye on them.![]()
Glad I switched phones when I did . . . my old jailbroke iPhone 3G wasn't the best phone, but it was quite a bit cooler after the jailbreak.![]()
Moto is just going to lock down your bootloader. Don't understand why they are trying to lock down open source. Must be a big brother thing going on.
