Does anyone miss their blackberry?
Still on the fence with the droid. My tour was love at first trackball press though. Just curious if anyone else misses their blackberry yet? If I'm still undecided about the Droid before my 30 days are up, I was thinking about it exchanging it for the Storm2

Miss my Blackberry? Are you kidding? I had the worst smart phone ever conceived, the (not so) mighty Storm!

I miss what the BB was really all about - a portable Exchange device. Once the Droid gets updated with the various fixes, I think you will be happier with a smarter phone.

I came from an older but tough BlackBerry 8700. A bit bigger than the newer sleeker models..
As much as I'm excited about and love the Droid - I do miss a few things - first is the keyboard on the blackberry. That thing was simply designed for one handed use, and I could blast off a text or email without even looking at it. I always wondered what the big hub-bub was about the 'texting and driving' thing. everyone saying OMG its so dangerous!.. yea now I know why.
So I do miss that. Also, that blackberry got it's rear end kicked via dropping slamming into things, etc.. and never even shed a tear about it. I'm not so sure I can say that will be the same case with the droid.
But other than that.. Blackberry was great for an email and texting device... but man was it slow for trying to do much beyond that.. twitter. facebook etc all took soo long to load that I'd actually start it loading then put it back in my pocket.

A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.

BB was good for texting only. just open one excel, pdf, or word file with this droid and you will be reminded why you switched...

Coming from the perspective of a BB user who was on BIS, the BB SUCKED as a portable Exchange device. The Droid is much better, IMHO.
