Sony Xperia orc

Not sure if anyone heard of sony xperia orc, it's a new Andriod smart phone that said to be will be coming out Q4 of 2011 but doesnt have a supporting carrier in U.S. as of yet. I think they will have it available in Sony store.. I am currently carry a Driod charge from verizon, my question is when the time comes can if I get the phone even if it doesnt have a supporting carrier will it be compatible to verizon network? Thx
