Maybe because it doesn't really directly relate to the Droid but, apparently, Verizon went public today about adding the iPhone to the Verizon phone lineup. I don't have a link. I was talking to a manger for Verizon today and he said the announcement was suppose to "go public" today.

01-13-2010 11:48 PMNo link no proof! Haha. I've heard acouple times about the iSUCK coming to Verizon and all the issues blah blah blah but I haven't ever seen anything overly official about this happening. Anyone have a legit link to facts on this?

I didn't read/hear anything about it.

01-14-2010 12:05 AMI know, I'm just posting what I was told from a manager at Verizon today. He said that Verizon "went public" today with an announcement about bringing the iPhone 4G to Verizon. I don't really care if I'm wrong or right, just relaying information from a manager at Verizon. Maybe he was flat out lying, I don't know.

01-14-2010 12:13 AMI heard that Apple has an event going on I think 1/27/2010, and rumors are going around that they might make announcment about the Iphone to Verizon, this is just a rumor. I wont believe it till I actually have real proof.

iPhone for Verizon may use Qualcomm chip, go CDMA-only | Electronista
And +1 for NOT CARING if anyone's said that yet. But it would give Verizon a good boost and perhaps force AT&T to get of thier &** and fix their coverage. -
