Im not really excited because i know it does not match up to my rooted, overclocked d1 at all.
Im planing on having this phone for 2 months tops! If i cant handle the limits it will put on me.
Then prob selling it on ebay and go back to android

You have to return it within 2 weeks. You can't sell CDMA phones, they will only work on Verizon. There will be no unlock because the way it's done is illegal. You can only sell the GSM version of the phone. (ATT, TMOBILE)

I know this too but my wife wanted it and ordered it. What's not reasonable to you doesn't its not reasonable to someone else. So you are right don't make a fuss.

That's a network issue, not a device issue. You're already using Verizon so that's an odd reason to cite.

Source? I've yet to see anything that truly indicates to me that there will be a VZW iPhone 5 (with LTE which would actually make me wait) in July except for Apple's current iPhone release schedule. I don't make purchase decisions based on rumors -- much less rumors that don't even have leaks to provide at least some sort of support for the rumor. Obviously, YMMV.

The rumors seem to indicate that the GSM and CDMA models will be merged but that LTE isn't likely. Apple may surprise us with some significant updates but, if their past is any indicator, this is likely to be a minor update. In any case, the rumors aren't enough to sway me. Again, YMMV.

No, you can sell CDMA phones. CDMA phones work on more than just Verizon as Verizon isn't the only CDMA carrier. What you're thinking of is that Verizon devices won't work on other carriers unless flashed (if possible, depending on the specific device) and vice-versa. That, as well as some carriers not allowing ESN's from other carriers on their network.

And, as for unlocking, it's not possible because unlocking isn't relevant to CDMA (or CDMA/GSM hybrid) devices. There's no subsidy/network lock to remove.
