    Just ordered my first "smart phone" Motorola Droid

    Hello.

    Going from an EnV2 to a DROID!
    Very excited. I planed on doing this the other night but learned i was not elegable for an upgrade till 6/10. Was very . Picked up my mail today to find a post card from verizon offering me an early upgrade AND $50 dollars off the upgrade price. So after rebate i will pay $150 for the Droid.

    I have an iTouch. That i use every day as my satellite radio. If only they could do what Apple and XM did (a dock in my car, turns the iTouch or Phone into a full satellite radio) i would be in heaven. But whatever about that.

    SMART PHONE HERE I COME!

    Whoa talk about fast shipping. I ordered it on Saturday and they tried to deliver it today (Monday).

    Wasnt home! Oh well. Tomorrow.

    Pandora and Slacker are all well and good.

    But i need my live talk radio. Opie and Anthony and Ron and Fez. And the programs on NFL Network are second to none for a football fan like myself.

    I hate the company post merger but im too much of a fan of those listed above to give them up. Audible? No thanks.

    Hey there! I did the same thing - switching from the EnV2 to my first smart phone, the Droid! It's like a whole new world, really.

    Nice job on the early upgrade and $50 off! Lucky you!
    My (hazy) phone timeline: Nokia 8260 > Nokia 8265 > Some flip phone with a color screen and camera > Motorola Razr > LG EnV > LG EnV2 >
