New here had my droid for over a year. Still getting used to it. Have a new grandson and need to get picture off the phone and have not figured out yet. Recently have had problems with battery life and need to know minimum applications for increasing life.

When you plug your USB cable into the computer there will be an icon that pops up in the status bar. Open the status bar and click mount. You should get a pop up on the computer then. Select view files. The pictures you want will be found in the folder labeled DCIM. Once you open that folder you'll find another labeled CAMERA. Your pictures are stored here. Best of luck, and welcome!

Connect your phone to your computer. When you see the usb icon in the notification bat, pull it down and select usb connections. Choose mass storage and hit ok. Give it a few seconds and your computer should recognize the sd card as a drive. Open it up and find the folder that's named DCIM (or DCMI...i forget which one it is exactly). Your pics are in there. As far as battery...if your phone is a year old you may wanna consider getting a new one. My experience is batteries don't last as long as the phone does so its probably sign better days.
