    Leaving the Blackberry world for Android

    Hey there all, Bottlecap from New Mexico here. I'm leaving the world of Blackberry where I've been with RIM as a user for the last 7 years, but I've just had it with them, their support, their sloppy upgrades, and lately I've been having to do battery pulls DAILY! After Xmas I'm going to pick up either a Droid or a Eris, (more than likely a Droid).

    I love how open Android is for developing, and I'm so excited about that I've dusted off my java skills and am trying to get back to something approaching competency in Java.

    Coming from a Storm, the Droid is light years ahead. You'll more than likely find some people from CrackBerry here.
