About LinkBacksHello. I like the DroidForum. It appears often when I'm looking for tips and advice. Good group of people here.
About me. Been using Linux, personally since very, very early versions - back when installing Linux was quite a challenge - and professionally for 20 years. I'd been waiting for the Linux smartphone for ten years before the Droid appeared. I had a Palm Treo which was getting old and flaky, and I kept telling it "Just hold on just a little bit longer, my ideal phone is almost here." It was close, but the Palm held out just long enough.
Love the Droid 1. Rooted of course - you don't own something if someone else has control of it.
I'm glad to be here.
