    Touch Screen Issues

The touch screen stopped working on my phone and when someone calls it rings and vibrates until the call is done and doesn't even say anyone is calling, my phone is not rooted and I have the Moto droid.

When you say it's not working, do you mean at all or it just won't respond to touch?

to the forum, by the way!

It won't respond to touch and I meant it will ring and vibrate until the song is done, not call and it dies very fast and heats up really quick.

Okay, is your phone rooted? Does it do this only during phone calls? Does the screen light up at all?

I have noticed the same thing- particularly when I am trying to post something on facebook. I start writing a message and suddenly the screen freezes and I can't continue typing my message. Additionally I have noticed that doing anything on the internet is becoming very slow (DSL seems faster). Is there any viruses noted to affect the phone?

There's only been on virus noted on Android and it was a short-lived thing in Russia that affected a few handsets before being cut off. It only infected rooted handsets, though.
