    question about notification rigntones

    Hey everyone, just got the Driod 2. Question... is there a way to have multiple notification tones for different things like one for email, text messages and pictures messages?

    Just wondering becuase it would make life easier knowing what is coming in! I switched from a blackberry which i was able to have multiple notification tones.

    Welcome! Glad you joined us. Each app has settings. Open an app, tap menu, tap settings, tap notifications.

    Welcome to the Forum...there are also some good ringtone/notification apps in the Market for when the system ones just aren't enough...Zedge is a good one, and RingDroid lets you make your own from your music library

    Mike- thanks you so much! this is really hlepful, took no time to figure out!!
    So one more question....
    Do you have any tips on how to keep the battery from draining so quickly? I have a task killer app downloaded but not convinced that it s effective.
    Any thoughts?

    uninstall the task killer---that will hurt battery life more than anything
