    Android Newbie

Hello everyone, as this topic implies i am new to these forums and as i am assuming many have asked before me, i need help deciding.
Ever since my girlfriend got her droid eris in February i've been interested in getting an android phone. I've been researching the Droid and Droid Incredible lately and i was wondering which to go with.
I have used the droid before and find the keyboard to be annoying but maybe possible to get used to?
And I have held the droid incredible(not a possible chance of use because my local VZW only has dummy phones)

Ik it mainly comes down to personal preference but i wanted to know from people that actually own these phones instead of getting one and not liking it.
I was also wondering instead of getting one of these phones if i should wait for the wealth of new android phones set to come out by the end of the year/early 2011?
sorry for another instance of the question you've all probably seen daily but i've come to a stand still. part of me says droid and other part says incredible.
