I stumbled across this Forum looking for ways the tether Motorola i1 to a laptop both at home and on the road. I have been to RV forums, phone forums, etc and found many confusing answers.

I tried using PDAnet and Easy tether. Have programs on laptop and phone. When I try to tether the phone to the laptop, a message comes up (on the phone) 'Enable USB debugging in Settings>Applications>Development. On my phone it's found under Settings>USB>USB debugging. Checkmark is highlighted green.

I am on the Boost (Sprint) Network with unlimited everything.

Is tethering the i1 possible? worth it? Alternatives?

BTW we are trying to get rid of ALL Comcast services.

    TIA for any help

hi. Im also new and from mn.
both easyteather and PDanet worked for me. How ever they require a progrom on your laptop.
When you connext your phone to usb. Make sure to allow tethering on your phone. Also make sure the program you are using is on on both devices.

    sorry for the bad spelling.
    Hope this helps!
