Hello everyone, I will be a droid owner in a couple of days...

I've had an LG EnV since I've been a Verizon Wireless Customer. My upgrade finally was available today, so I got the droid. I've been looking at options over the past month, and nothing else had all the options I wanted (QWERTY keyboard, touch screen, non-proprietary OS, good picture/video, etc.) except for the droid.

I have an Iphone 3g that I basically have used as an Ipod touch so I am looking forward to getting rid of that and only carrying one device! I'm also looking forward to console game emulators! yay android!

I'll be getting mine this Sunday (I think). Unfortunately, my contract is not up until next April - and I can't wait that long. So, I'll be taking it in the shorts on this one. Big bucks, probably no rebate, etc. I'm looking at around $300, I think. GASP! In fact, I hope it's ONLY $300...

Going to Florida next weekend for our daughters wedding, so I'll be able to see first hand what all the talk about GPS problems down there is all about.

So IIIunityIII, it'll be you and me - stabbing in the dark - ha.
