New droid owner

Hey everyone,

My name is Kurt, i live in michigan. I am new to the Droid Eris. I am coming from the Alltel Samsung Delve.

I was very close to canceling to get the iPhone until i was introduced to this phone. It so far appears that it will do everything i want, nav and useful apps.

But im having several problems already. With the facebook application and the Google Maps not reading 'My Location'

ive ran through my battery several times playing with it an experimenting with applications. Im excited to see the changes that come about with it.
