So, I will be getting my Droid in three weeks. I thought my new every two was up, and I went to buy it last night, and was told I coudl save $100 by waiting three weeks....so wait I shall.

I'm excited. My brother has the droid and loves it.
I have the dare and, well....don't love it.

Call Verizon and ask them to move your new every two date up 3 weeks. They'll do it, Ik got mine moved up by a week. i wish I would have known sooner./

Call Verizon and ask them to move your new every two date up 3 weeks. They'll do it, Ik got mine moved up by a week. i wish I would have known sooner./

You know, I did ask last night...I was amazed at the fact that they said no. In the store the kid was downright rude. He told me three weeks, I told him my dare is not working, and they can't seem to fix parts of it, can it be moved up? His response: "Oh, is it march thrid...(pretends to check calendar) oh, no...guess not." On the phone, just got a sorry, no can do.

You might want to consider spending the extra $100...the agony of the anticipation for the next 3 weeks will damn near kill you.

I'd pay $100 for 3 weeks with my Droid.

+1 Big Cam is correct. Verizon wants to sell this phone and the attached data plan. They will move up your date.

Was able to get someone else on the phone who moved my date. I am now the proud owner of a droid. Already got about 100 free apps. I need to learn how to use this thing. There is so much cool i can do with it. I want to find a docking station that does more than just charge it and use the display. Is there one with speakers, so I don't have to listen through the device speakers?
So far, I LOVE this device, and I have gotten about 1/1000th of the functionality out of it so far.
