My name is Dani and I was very excited about the HTC Desire finally being available after a very long back-order wait. It is everything it promised it would be, a cut above the blackberry I had before (except blackberry has kick-butt service range.) I love being able to surf the web on my phone with speed and ease. I had trouble syncing my phone with my outlook calender, but after playing a bit and reading forums, I finally did it (I never was able to sync my blackberry, which was a huge drawback.)
Well, I've had some big changes in my work schedule, which isn't that uncommon with hospital staffing, and I attempted to sync my phone again, which brings me to this forum. I now will head over to technical help, with my issue
Thank you for the warm welcome Droidforums, and I hope that I can eventually be helpful instead of needing help

Hi all. I'm Phil, and I bought my Droid X about a month or so ago. I've read a few articles on this site as I got used to it in the first few weeks, but just now got around to signing up. Amazed by what the phone can do so far, and just hoping to learn more as I go!
Not sure how to make an intoroduction thread. I guess if this is it I'll know when I am done.
I came here when I bought a DroidX for my wife and had to learn how to sync her Google calendar-still don't know how to do it but will keep searching! Now that I am here I can see that I'll learn a lot more about my Droid 1 that I have had for a year and only emailed and used as a phone more or less! I think I'll even learn about "rooting".
I look forward to meeting other forum members.
I love my Droid and it only gets better with forums like this. I dont know much when it comes to my Droid but a few months here and Im sure Ill be an expert! I have alot of time (cuz of a car accident) so youll see me here reading all the time! My goal is to become very good to superb with my Droid, I am very happy you guys are around! Thank you!!!
A warm welcome to every one.
Enjoy your stay.

I am Steve and I have a Droid X for a couple months now. I'm still trying to figure out all the "must haves" that I don't yet have. If anyone has a list, please share it with me. I am NOT a gamer, so those apps don't interest me at all.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
