Hello All,

I am pretty new to the Droid scene. Had an iPhone for sometime... well several iPhones... Found that they were just to fragile for my rugged lifestyle. With that said I have since found love in my motorola droid. So far I have been content with it until Verizon put out the 2.2 update. Since then I have had nothing but issues with everything on my phone. I had a friend offer to root it for me but decided that if it was going to be done I needed do it myself. So I'm reading and reading and hopefully I wont kill my phone.

Just ordered a Droid 2 for my wife, can get my own in about 2 weeks. Joined so I can get a head start on whats good and whats bad with the Droid.

I currently have an LG Voyager. Don't laugh, it gets me by and average battery life is a week! (But, I'm not a real heavy data user).

Looking forward to learning the Droid life.

Hello all.

I'm new to the Droid. Although I'm pretty happy with it I have my complaints, one of which is the fact that in order to remove an application you have to go into it from the Market Place to uninstall. If there's another way to do it, let me know.

I have had a Droid X for a little over a month. I have rooted it, updated to Froyo, and re-flashed it back to Eclair, only to root it again and update it to Froyo but keeping root this time. This is a good thing. I like seeing what the possibilities are. I have an Application Development book and I'm trying to write my own things for these phones. This forum and a few others have helped me immensely. Please lets keep up the good work.
