Nice. I hope to see the Droid X get rooted in the coming days. I am sticking with my MotoDroid 1 till the end of the year because I want a new phone for gingerbread, but I really don't want to see phones that can't be rooted. Would be a shame. Welcome!

I am a new DROID user (about 1 month) and so excited! Although a goal, the means and time for getting here were serendipitous. So, I am living in the DROID, not DROID X world. It surpasses my dieing HTC model.

I look forward to learning from all of you! I have been in the cell phone world since they were big heavy cubes. I feel like Scotty when I use my DROID. Look forward to updating with all of you.

Hey all. Just got motor Droid to replace my comp that sank to the bottom of the ocean. Can't wait to gain control of operating system. Awesome info in these forums. Can't find anything about waterproofing though...

well im technically still a bb user. i have had the bb storm and bb storm 2 but when i wake in the morning im hoping my droid X will be here and i can join all of you in the droid world...been reading alot about it so i think it should be alot of fun but is there anything you current users would like to let me know?? or any good, fun, new apps that i wouldnt of seen in bb app world (cough joke), my g/f will also be getting the X but shes coming from the voyager as she has never had a smart phone. from what i hear it should get its own catagory= superphone. and plz tell me there is an eaiser way of getting movies and videos to the x i had a terrible time adding vid to the bb ....is there anything like the bb messanger where just droid onwers can make groups and chat about things they have in common? would really like a mma,vegas,chevy,offroad chat......also just so i get this right android is the os and droid is the type of phone? or is that way wrong? i look forward to any help i get or i can give!

Picked up my Droid October 2009 and it is my first real smart phone. Last phone was an upstage. I didn’t want to go with Apple. After 10 months of great service I am looking to explore more of what the platform and os has to offer. I want to learn how to root and customize my experience.

I'm looking to find a way to migrate my music from ipod touch to droid with a similar feel/useability.

I'm back after a long hiatus. When the site first started I was here with my MOTO Droid. I went back to Blackberry and got an S2 which I still have. I just picked up a Dinc on eBay and am enjoying the change. My profile was not even deleted when I left in December. You guys must have known I was coming back. Anyways I hope to pick up some great info on my phone while here.
