About LinkBacksThis is my first time owning a smart phone. I picked the driod eris because of the look, I love that it was easy to learn, but looking for options how to get more battery life out of the battery.

Just got my Droid today (been locked into an ATT contract that expired yesterday). So far I'm loving it. I had an HTC 8525, loved it but so far, Droid's SO much better.
Can't wait to fully explore all the possibilities w/ this phone -

02-13-2010 12:30 PMI had an LG glimmer through Alltel, which had an unfortunate drunken run-in with a toilet. Since my Alltel store was turning to Verizon, I switched to Verizon and the best phone they offered, the Motorola Droid. I'm excited to read on here and find out all of the amazing things my beautiful Droid can do!

02-15-2010 11:22 AMMy name is Shawn and I have been a Doidaholic for 2 days now. My iPhone died a few days ago only 3 weeks before my contract was up. Phone was out of warranty and wasn't planning on sticking with AT&T much longer and certainly not another 2 years. I bought the Droid on a 1 year contract and figured I'd try something new. So far I love it!! It has it's flaws, but so does the iPhone. Either of them could fix most issues with software. Sad thing is the Droid will probably get the fixes before Apple gets around to theirs. None the less, I'm still a huge iPhone fan and it's the reason why I sign only a 1 year in anticipation to the iPhone coming to Verizon within the next year. Who knows, Droid may win me over all together especially as newer version come out. Look forward to learning alot around here.

02-15-2010 10:15 PMWelcome to everyone , I got my Droid in Dec.. Had SOME issues with it, leading to replacements. However I still LOVE IT!!!
Glad to have more DROIDS!!!
The people here are wonderful!
