two same gmails coming to my phone. driving me nuts

Hello everyone!! I've had this droid for a month. I have my gmail account (primary) coming to the phone. BUt somehow I've managed to now have two of the same emails coming to my phone, in other words, every gmail comes twice. I want to change the one to a secondary yahoo account, and I cant seem to figure out how to do it..........HELP!!!!

why did you set up your gmail in both mail clients?

I would just delete the second one, and then set up another one in the "Email" application, not the "Gmail" application...

For some reason if Gmail is your primary client it insist on going to your email. I've tried to delete it and it just comes back.

I suggest setting your email (not gmail) account for checking every hour. That should give you time to look at your email and prevent the double notification.

If you get a lot of email this may not work for you but I know of no other way around it.
